Valley Student Services

We strategically place additional teachers in classrooms during key learning times based on student needs. 

We target skill development and additional practice for identified students with one-on-one or small group instruction.

In collaboration with families and outside providers, we develop and implement personalized plans which include diagnostic information, classroom accommodations, and recommendations for in-school or external support.

We collaborate with teachers, families, and outside providers to regularly collect additional information to monitor progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.

We provide families with referrals to preferred providers of support we are unable to provide internally, such as speech and occupational therapists, psychologists, or more intense tutoring support. Many of these providers offer on-site or virtual sessions during the school day and prioritize scheduling for Valley students, making access to additional support seamless and convenient.
