Profile

At Valley since 2015, Katie-Rose loves walking across campus in the changing seasons. She appreciates the “gifts” she gets from students and their families like leaves, spiders, dead bugs, bones, and nests because they spur great observation, hypothesis-making, and conversations. Outside of school, Katie-Rose loves reading about the female experience outdoors and polar exploration. Closer to home, she has rafted all 277 miles of the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and continues to live out her family motto “Explore to Learn” with her husband and young son.
