Dan joined Valley in 2026 and is inspired by the deeply engaged connections among students, families, teachers, and staff. With a background in finance, operations, and project management leadership, he has worked across nonprofit schools, global health organizations, and conservation initiatives. At Valley, he loves to draw clarity from complex financial data and streamline business processes to help the school hum. Earlier in life, Dan wanted to become a math teacher, so being a part of this school community feels like coming home! When he's not at school, Dan is usually outside --climbing, cross-country skiing, hiking, or trail running --or in his kitchen attempting a new recipe with friends. He also spends his weekends slowly restoring his Craftsman cottage.
