Profile

Rebecca has worked in Seattle-area independent schools since 2001 and has been at Valley since 2025. Having taught so many Valley graduates over the years, she noticed they were resilient students, joyful learners, and kind people, and that is what made her want to work at Valley. She's impressed by the responsibilities students have in the community like caring for Valley pets, shelving books in the library, and completing other Community Care tasks daily. Outside of school, Rebecca enjoys cross-country skiing with her family in the winter and swimming in the summer. Despite having grown up in Southern California, she has even learned to love a fall trail run in the rain.
