Nickle Taniguchi
Lead Extended Day Teacher
Nickle, has been working in educational settings since 2013 and has been at Valley since 2024. They note that the Valley has a deep respect for children’s autonomy. “We’re not out to tell children how to be themselves, we try to see who the children want to be, and help guide them toward becoming that person.” In Extended Day at Valley, Nickle has figured out how to turn almost any situation into a fun game. Outside of school, they enjoy crafting and reading X-men books. They are bilingual and also do Japanese-English translations.
