Amanda McCracken
1st Grade Teacher
Amanda loves the risk-taking, valuing of student voices, and community building that are so important to Valley. She also adores the chickens and all that she and students learn while hatching, raising, and tending to them. She likes teaching literacy and math equally, but her real passion is designing thematic units that empower students to take action in the world. Off campus, Amanda loves exploring on skis, paddle board, and kayak. She has been teaching since 2015 and working at Valley since 2024.
