This past week, Valley School celebrated our 100th day of school! Students in all grades had a chance to reflect on all their favorite memories, how much they’ve learned this year, and the great fun they’ve had with friends new and old. The week wrapped up with a celebration of what Valley does best during our annual “Playful Learning Day”!
We asked PreK and Kindergarten: What’s the coolest thing you learned this year?
Lily: How to love
Harry: Gardening
George: All the songs we sing at All School Meeting and with my class
Sky: How to count money
Madeline: How to give birds what they need like seed and water
We asked students in 1st and 2nd grade: What was your favorite memory from this year?
Santiago: We showed our parents the Dragon’s Breath game
Elouise: Sunbathing with my friends
Bennett: The climate march
Kabir: Learning about voting
We asked students in 3rd-5th grade: What’s the best thing you’ve gotten to do in a classroom so far this year?
