The Valley School is excited to host our first Families of Color Potluck Dinner. Our school community is committed to strengthening diversity and inclusion throughout our school culture. As one part of this important work, the Parent Education Committee invites families where any member identifies as a person of color, to come together for an evening of important conversations and community building. This event will be facilitated by Amy Pak and Marquita Prinzing of Families of Color Seattle (www.focseattle.com). If you are a family with a member who identifies as a person of color, including multiracial and transracial adoptive families, please mark your calendar for Thursday, September 22 from 6:15 - 8:45 p.m.
