Social Mission The Valley School staff believes that in a democracy all children have the inherent right to an unfettered start in life through equal access to a good education. The right to a good education for every child need not be justified because it helps society. The Valley School is dedicated to creating an ethnically diverse environment for children, an environment that reflects the cultural richness of the world outside. By allowing each child's self to emerge, we foster respect for individual differences while encouraging appreciation within each child of his or her own background. In this way, the children can gain from each other's unique traits without giving up any part of their own identity. Located in an integrated family community, the Valley School has worked actively to establish mutually supportive relationships with its neighbors.
