Valley Upper School Playground

Additionally, the basketball hoop was relocated to the north end of the concrete sport court, a new netting system was installed on the west fence line, and the play field was re-leveled and blanketed with a thick and fresh layer of wood chips. The new play structures include an eleven-piece log stack formation and a 22-foot arched climber. Both elements come from Portland-based Columbia Cascade’s TimberForm division. A significant portion of the funding for the new play structures came from a ‘Fund a Need’ drive at The Valley School auction. Thank you Valley parents for these wonderful new additions! Students of all grades are delighted with the changes, and energy and excitement abound on Valley’s new Upper School Playground!
