Valley Big Room

Please join Parent Ed in the Big Room for a special screening of the film Screenagers, in which physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston explores struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Learn how to empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance. Screenagers, which was primarily shot here in Seattle, is relevant for parents of children of all ages – it’s never too young to start considering how your family will address issues concerning technology.

We highly recommend that parents view this movie before showing it to their children. The producers advise that the film is appropriate for ages 10 and up.  Please read the "Parent Advisory" on the RSVP form to determine whether or not you want to bring your 4th or 5th grade student to the screening.

Doors open at 6 pm, with the 65-minute film starting at 6:15 pm. A discussion will follow until 8:00 pm. This event is indoor picnic style! Please bring your own camp chair as well as a picnic dinner if you wish.
